Misty overnight, enough for damp everywhere -- way better than ice! Overcast gloomy. winds have calmed. Better than so many places have weatherwise. I'm thankful.

Slept until alarm at 7. Slowly starting with fresh coffee in my cup. Have tos are done, most need tos are done and a lot of wannas Somehow, the inside is still waiting I have to do this!!

About -20°F this morning, I went to let the birds out and apparently I didn't get enough sleep. Opened up the door and the birds were gone, these things were in there instead. Guess the cold weather caused my birds to transition or I'm still waking up.

We were much warmer at 10 above. The birds don't mind to much as long as the ground doesn't have to much snow. Too cold for the weak starter in the farm truck though. I started it yesterday so it would be nice and charged. I just shut off the welder I was using to jump it after running for an hour and a half.

Have to go rescue/dig a neighbor out tomorrow that can't leave home cause of so much snow. Could do it today but I wouldn't attempt it with these temperatures on trying to start a 56 year old backhoe, plus no cab. Twelve mile round trip to get there and back down and up a ridge and few hills.
I suggest putting battery inside overnight to warm up, it's what I'm doing.

The winds here keep us much cooler than temps . Plus it's hard to do much outside with 20-30 mph going all the time.

Stayed inside after chores and forced myself to do cleaning...a little at a time, it's spring cleaning! I was very good, so relaxing now. Back at it tomorrow.

@peteyfoozer I wish I could help with how you feel. The pics you posted are beautiful. Someone once described our earthly bodies as favorite clothes that wear out. Then we get a new set in the hereafter. I hope that helps.

Same old, same old -- windy & cold! Saying close to "0" by morning. Then temps gradually rise to 68-70 day by Thur/Fri. What??? Carhartt to shorts in one week.

I'm just gonna have another cuppa and take what comes. Like I could change it? It'll be another inside day beyond feed chores. I'll get heated tubs plugged in for a day or two.
