Welp all is quiet here too as usual except for a cat I finally got back up here. Wife rescued a cat from her job (1 in 100's there) and we had it upstairs for almost a week. Kept us up at night so we put her downstairs, well that didn't go well it went feral again. Almost a week passed by trying to catch her in pole barn and I finally got her. She is now upstairs as of last night and back to being loving little creature by morning. Going to try and get her to stay longer this time and get her use to being inside/outside cat.

Good morning all. Another day of fog.
Uncle Max a rottie x pit bull who thought he was an LGD and in fact served as one for years. Caution, warning, disclaimer I have no idea why Max watched the sheep faithfully. He just did. Approved breeds are a better choice.
Not so much in the U.S.A. but I've heard of people using rots for herding/guarding. Even in the country that made the best dog for rank cattle (in my humble opinion), the Austrialian Cattle dog. I still like my heelers.
Yesterday was amazing! It was like Fen flipped a switch and went from fighting everything I ever had to teach him to suddenly becoming the perfectly behaved service dog. Ever since Boone came, Fen has been a different dog. He’s no longer frustrated, he’s more relaxed, happier, more reliable, better behaved. The only downside is Boone’s needle sharp teeth got Fen in the ear and cheek last night while playing and Fen cried then went and hid himself in back of the crate, which broke my heart. I think there may be less wrestling and more games of tag and tug in their future.
Anyhow, Fen remained at my side without the usual frantic pulling, quietly went under the table and laid down without begging, vocalizing, attempting to watch the activity in the restaurant or getting bored. He even handed me back his leash I fumbled when leaving.
A little extra exercise helps, especially a young dog. When the four wheeler still ran, I took the dogs for a 3 mile run. 1 1/2 mile there stop at a pond one direction or a creek the other, let them drink, play, rest, run some more, rest then 1 1/2 mile back. It took that 1 or 2 times a week to help keep down the stupid. Made training easier to.

A blessed day with dry feet to all.

Afternoon everyone! HAPPY THURSDAY!!!! It was a great day here today even though it was heavy cloud cover but at 60+ temp can't complain then tomorrow it's suppose to be 70+ so let's just wait and see.
I did something today which doesn't help with mine and FH eating healthy, I made Chocolate MAYONAISSE Cake. It's currently in the oven and hoping FH likes it.

Ok, I'm dealing with a body that's decided 4:30 is a morning wake up time. 😵‍💫🫤. So I'm up!! Had breakfast...looking at 66*, muggy from scattered showers/sprinkles. Same type wetness all weekend. At least not freezing👍😁👍. Screws up tractor work I'd like to accomplish while home 😞 can't pick up fence until Monday. Frustrating. Projects to do & probably can't accomplish.

Happens every year....weather & time home are often like a train wreck. Plus, farmers almanac says wetter spring than usual. 😳. Last year was, too!! It's tough for tilling and planting. Sure hope it's not another spring like that.

Now to decide what I can do, need to do, how to do.🥴

Another cuppa for now!
