Still feeling like death.... but also no more vomiting... and I am getting more fluids down...

So I guess I turned the corner...

So nice.

I'm a bit worried about the eye shot...because it is super important to have them every month..... but then again, there's nothing I can do at this point....

Clearly, I canceled the shot I was supposed to get today. That shot is supposed to keep me from going blind... only have had, I think 3, so far, and I can already see some improvement.

Yikes on being sick and not at home. Super sweet you DH helping from long distance. Hopefully your doc can reschedule the shot while you're still in Anchorage - I mean given the circumstances maybe an extra early or last one of the day appointment that could be fabricated?? 🤞

@Alaskan glad you're better. Hope you can get your Dr appt worked back in, while there. Shot in eye sounds tough!

Heavy, hard downpour late day was unreal. Just checked garden and several plants knocked "down or over" -- they should straighten up in a day or so. Not even thinking about going in there right now! Nope. Will go to work & deal with garden another day.:idunno Mother Nature will help out.

AND since over 2" in half hr had me inside 🤔 I was on craigslist. 🙄 Adding a couple pigs for eventual freezer fill has been on back burner for a while and I had been casually looking for a couple AGHs again. Most have been too far, too much $. I see a family only 12 miles away just listed several as "getting out" of pigs. Priced right! Of course my txt fingers over rode my good sense and I'm arranging a look-see. Is that 👍 or 👎 ? Still in just the thinking stages. 🤣 Time will tell. A good pork sale would settle it! But it was unbelievably good meat from others I raised. Pigs destruction is a turn off! But I am reworking some pastures -- & can till it over/after. Need restraints...😁

Gave goaties some hay this morning -- they HATE the wet grasses and, it's runs thru them, so hay for breakfast! 😍

Yep it's that time of the day again, morning. Get to dump the load currently in the dump truck, spread it out then hook onto the dump truck and tow it home. Might be lucky on what I know and that is after I drop the 15 tons of rock, pick it up with the loader and spin it around that since it's empty I can limp it home.
Feels as the reverse/low shaft gave away, it's the set of gears on the right in the picture.
Anywho, my day will consist of pulling a engine and transmission on one semi to put the transmission in the dump truck. Easier and faster to pull it as one unit if you got the equipment.

@Alaskan i hope you are feeling better.

Raining here. All this rain is getting depressing. I can’t do anything outside and have so much to do. Projects and work is stacking up and I can’t do a darn thing about it.
Imagine living here for years on end for rain... Don't look at how many inches, look at average precipitation days. I must of been destined to live in the most miserable and hostile weather conditions known to man.

Whatta day. Horrible electrical storm at 3a, ushered in by equally horrible wind. Heard an assortment of bangs and crashes outside (which amounted to almost nothing). Generator disabled due to regulator not working so lights out. “Propane Lil” our fearless propane tech arrived (out of the blue) with a new regulator and did repairs. Generator working now. The garage fuse blew (storm) leaving me with a freezer full of meat in jeopardy. I found an outdoor electrical cord with an illegible tag, assumed it would be safe because it’s diameter is larger than the freezer’s cord, plugged the freezer into an exterior outlet. So far all is well. I vetted all this on the phone with my brother as Hubbs is working in another part of the state and unavailable. While walking fence for repairs I found a freshly killed, full grown ewe, head badly gnawed. She was about 10 feet other side of the fence in heavy brush. Thinking big cat. Or vacationing sea monster, these days who knows? Also unmovable limb on fence so closed that pasture. My favorite apple treeling was snapped off at ground level dammit. But a bantam hen hatched six+- chicks. Got them fed watered. Wonder what got that ewe? Hope tomorrow has less weather and mystery
