Good morning. I've been sipping coffee, waiting for light, now waiting for a little warm-up outside before starting.

Working on my garden plans as I sit.

I try to be as organic and natural as I can, so I have been using crop rotations as a pest and disease deterrant since 2022, with my first foray back into vegetable gardening.

Last night I could feel pre-spasms in my legs from yesterday's exertions, so I got out of bed and used a little DMSO. Went back and slept, no cramps.
:celebrate

Today's plans:
1. Place hardware cloth over new hoop coop, getting my DS to assist :\

2. Cutting downspout :ep and installing first two rainbarrels before storms on Sunday

Wisp approved my Thursday evening work ⬆️

Mornin’! Boone was especially “a-whoooey” this morning, so we are all up gawking at the snow, which we knew about last night, when he came inside and jumped in bed while wearing a skiff of the stuff. Oddly, pain level is lower than yesterday. I need to process the last 4 kits but don’t think I can handle the cold temps, when it already hurts so much just doing it 🫤 so instead I will get coffee, ponder weird shtuff and try to think of things to teach Boone…

Coming by for a visit. Trying to get some homework done. Also working on the fun thing called a job search. Lots of demand for Ag teachers, just trying to decide where I maybe want to go.
Hatched 10 chicks this week in the classroom. Super fun experience for the kids and I'm excited for some young birds to maybe sell in a couple months.

Well, there is good news and not so good news. This is Ladies Only material.

At 70, I've been spotting. Went to get ultrasound in December and then obgyn this month. Turns out my old lady part was waaaaay too thick with lining. Hmmmm.....take samples and look for uterine cancer.

Got the results back yesterday. No cancer but lots of polyps. Don't polyps have a chance to turn into cancer? I'm thinking I'll just have them gut me and get this over with.

My Mother had just about everything removed over the decades. Gall bladder, hysterectomy (sp?), breast, and part of her intestine due to Diverticulitis. My DD inherited the gall bladder issue and had her's removed. I've been very lucky.

GLAD for you that it is not cancer... First off...
I have had fibroids since I was young... breasts and uterine... one dr was all for all this surgery...NOPE.... not sure that was the way to go..... then had a young(ish) male dr that after a conversation, said that if they aren't bothering me, leave well enough alone.... If I was having spotting and such, I think I'd go on and have it taken out to just stop the aggravation. I don't know if they are a "pre-cancer" indication.
Still got all my parts...
Now if the occasional incontinence drips would stop..... working on that and the "kegel" exercises have never seemed to help...
We're here to listen, commiserate, or WHATEVER....
