Oh,my --- lovely tomato sandwiches!! We wait months for those🤣:drool

Yesterday was a "run around" day....start something, bounce to something else calling "NOW!". Hate those days. Screws up my mind, what's left of it. Slept poorly and need to go back to work today :th 😖 hoping this coffee helps charge me up! I'm out of motivation though 😁

Thankfully, chores are minimal this time of year. Water tubs full are critical....I've dried off most milking does, so not bad. Lots of pasture!

Hot wire efforts still going on. Found some insulators with 8.5" metal, screw in base, on line. Some areas with wood posts will get these upright, adding a little height as they check for an escape route ... Put a nose on that! Ouch!! 🤨.

Better get moving toward going to work...🤔😖😁

So missing the farm life. I skip on coffee not allowed to have it party poopers orders. We had thought to buy some land next to the house we are renting that changed very quickly when we found out all of the regulations the HOA that seems non-existent has for it. Including if you have to repair a fence you need a permit or if you want an in ground garden you have to have it approved by the board..... Not gonna happen. Back to putting more money in savings. Working on getting things ready for the new baby. Dh schedule keeps changing. As of right now he back on day shift yay. I might try my hand again at a raised garden but we shall see the last time it died pretty quickly out here. Don't think the soil is deep enough for this heat. Might getting better luck with a fall garden. Oh and I have an avocado tree growing from a seed woohoo. That's doing well so are my pineapple plants lol go figure things that like the heat. Nothing really new here just homeschool and a big belly lol. Anyways going to put the breakfast casserole in the oven we see how the kids take to it. Picky eaters are gonna have to learn to eat things that make my life easier and are cheaper lol. Wish me luck.

Getting about 6# of tomatoes a day here. Thinking ketchup is next. Had super sweet cherry tomatoes in the garden already this morning. A volunteer plant too.

when we found out all of the regulations the HOA
I'd say you dodged a bullet on that one. Stay FAR away from anything that has an HOA or similar. Typically most have monthly fees for whatever, they are often run by people who have nothing better to do than watch everyone else and force compliance.
Sorry it didn't work out - but you are better off, and there is something better out there for you.

a ram lamb! And he's fuzzy -- looks like Stripe's wool is dominant.
Sipping coffee and watching from the house - love the little Blink cameras around the ranch.

Yeah we did. They apparently also have a rule to where you can't fence fifteen feet from the front of the property or 10 ft from the back or five feet from either side. And you can't join two lots... Found that out before as well as we were going to buy this house the conjoin the two yards so we have more space. Well that's out. That lamb is so cute.

Great to hear from you @Jesusfreak101 ! Sorry you had to give up coffee, but it's just temporary. I had to decrease my soda, I miss Dr pepper but it's probably healthier for me overall.

What kind of breakfast casserole are you making? I've been doing egg bites for easy grab and go breakfast for hubby: eggs, cheese, a bit of milk, seasoning to taste, and add mix of cooked bacon/sausage, spinach, and other mixed veggies as desired; baked in a muffin tin and then package up in serving sizes. They are easy to freeze too. I'll try to dig out the recipe if you are interested?

YIKES!!!! I can't figure out what sort of folks that kind of home would appeal to.
Maybe if all you want is a home in a certain area & you plan to pay some kind of service to maintain everything from the door to the curb??
I have an aunt & uncle who live in a retirement community on a golf course. They don't get to pick or maintain ANYTHING from their porch to the curb except for a 12" flag that can be put in the flower bed around the mail box... and they have to remove it once a week on the day that the lawn guys come through. They have to maintain the back yard, and have mercy if they miss a week mowing!

Today's was just potatoes, eggs, bacon, ham(only cause i didn't have alot of bacon) cheese, heavy cream salt and pepper. It went over fairly well. 5 out of seven liked it so yay. I also use a French toast casserole. Most of my children on younger and can be extremely picky I have three that like eggs and two that dont I have one who doesn't like cheese well melted cheese. One that's not big on bread and a few who don't like certain fruits lol they are picky to the point o driving me crazy somewhat lol.
