On my second cup of coffee. It’s raining. Looks like a short window from 10 to maybe noon. I have to run ewe crew through the chute, across driveway so I can worm a few of them. This is not fun.

I finally finished up after 12:30. Kept having to dodge thunderstorms.

Coffee is ready, on my first cup. I’ve got to work the ewes again today, on a 5 day worm medicine for 8 ewes. Got a storm coming in at 7-ish tonight and a bigger one at 7-ish tomorrow morning. With so many people in much worse situations than me, I’m trying hard not to complain. When I start whining, I turn my thoughts to people whose homes were flooded and sitting in flood waters for weeks. That makes my problems insignificant.

Sold my press to help move out here and now I needed it to press a bearing on for the wife's car, so she took it to a machine shop to have it done. Well that has went a different direction, the owner wants to meet me after the wife said a few things and showed a few pictures, she said if he does anything he is part time only and she would pass the word on. Kind of curious about this one myself...

Should've made some coffee here. But had breakfast, and waiting on people to get to work to start moving sheep for shearing later.

Not sure when I was last on here. Was headed home Monday to check on stuff and see the horses when I got a call that the sheep got out. Was home for about 48 hours, and a couple hours after I left yesterday. Lovely stress-free trip home On the positive side, someone got sent to Tractor Supply, and they had chicks on sale. 16 new chicks later, we'll have eggs again this fall.
