This week I requested intermittent FMLA to help get things situated better with my dh. Now he needs to go to the clinic, he's got UTI symptoms & his regular doctor is sick. I am just waiting for the not-quite-urgent-care front desk staff to arrive so I can call to get him in...debating about brewing this early even though I can't get back to sleep.

God's got it, I know.

I hope you can get your husband in to see a doctor and get the right medication started. My husband had a UTI once that I rushed him to the hospital ER at midnight and he spent 3 days in the hospital. UTIs are some nasty critters. Prayers for your husband.

Member of the 4:30 club this morning. Have a couple coming over around noon so she can give Spot his bottle. I met them at the Sheriffs pancake supper. They are from Miami, been here 2 years and love everything Texas.

4 o'clock club here...now, I'm sooo sleepy! Back to bed sounds good but, things to do. dozing here on couch.

Went to bed it was 46°F, with scattered rain, it is now 20°F and highs of 26°F. I surmise it will be an ice rink to town this morning.

8:00 coffee here! And this is BIG exciting news for me.
I slept! Actually SLEPT! I haven't slept more than 2 or 3 hrs at a time in days... maybe weeks. I got home yesterday morning around 8:30, did my usual morning chores & laid down. Around noon I woke up & made a chicken sandwich, did some facebook scrolling & some last min Christmas shopping & laid down again. Woke up around 5 & did evenings chores. I'm sure I woke up briefly through the night... but for the most part I slept till 7am or so! I feel great! I've had coffee. I'm making breakfast & getting another coffee. It's gonna be a great day.

Member of the OMG slept in club up at 6:05! Finishing cuppa #2 and need to head over to the barn - It’s HAY DAY and we’re the first delivery. Ahhh the things we get excited about
