Coffee anyone ?

Good morning... have about 5-6 inches of snow with a real crust of ice on top... real crunchy. Still some misty stuff, temp sitting right around the 32 mark... another wave of probably mostly snow to come before it all goes north and east later today.
Oh well, it is January... that is winter...
Filled bird feeder yesterday and had to go out and break ice from the trays so they can get to it... from the way it was blowing a little one side is like a rock but got the other side opened up for them. There is no way they can find anything on the ground. I'm not a big bird feeder, but in this stuff, I try to give them something.

48-72 and sunny today. Might be able to start on the kitchen garden today.
Yesterday I had the first herding student for 2025. Mostly a desensitization for her dog - a nice Aussie. She is thinking that she may want to do more with her dog. That's cool. So - yesterday she gets here and has a present for the sheep -- a giant jar of ...... animal crackers!! Thought ya'll would enjoy that part.
Second cuppa done and time to head over to the the sheeps.

It’s 26F high of 46F today. Today will be sunny. I’ll be working outside today. Muscles were sore last night so I had 2 small glasses of wine, slept like a rock all night.
Coffee is ready! And cream biscuits!

About same temps here -- 28F going to 38 and north or west colder. Another shot at snow Fri. But only some icey snow on a few flat surfaces out there now. Like extremely heavy frost looking. No doubt it's a break ice morning. Just getting up the mental strength to go out there. Not having fun --

This coffee is first. Bottle warming for kid. It's bright, blinding sun. That's nice but sunglasses needed.
