I did French press for a while. I liked the taste but clean up was a bother. So, back to the drip method!

French press? Not working that hard for a cup daily😂

@Weldman that's weather I couldn't handle! 🥶🥶😱
Ok... HOW do you 2 use a French press?????

1. Fill water kettle with water, start it to boil (we use an electric kettle, so super easy)

2. Hit button on bean grinder

3. Pour old grounds out of French press pot.... rinse out a bit in sink

4. Dump freshly ground beans into pot

5. Pour hot water into French press pot

6. Put on lid

7. Slightly press down plunger so I can Pour out first cup... let it steep until I need second cup

Duuuuuuuudes..... I can do all of the above in my sleep!!!

LOL -- but getting those old grounds out kinda messy when it can't go down the drain. But I do like my French Press when I use it.

Any construction, heavy equipment, semi, tool expos going on in Texas anytime soon. I'm burned out. Taking the business truck.

My son finds jobs on FB, I think a group called Road Dogs. I’m sure there are others. There is always work in Texas.

Honestly I don’t know how you deal with those temperatures.

The wind is a-blowin'
Difference between LA county and San Diego -- this afternoon a brush fire started here (not close to me at all) 100x100 spot,
within the first 12 minutes prepositioned strike teams and task force dispatched to assist, two additional helicopters added (in addition to already responding local fd's),
within the next 25 minutes 3 helicopters, 2 fixed wing air tankers, 4 additional strike teams,
the next 10 minutes 5 more engines,
then 15 minutes later forward progress stopped. Size of area - 3 acres.
Yes, we could be burnt to a crisp, the wind blows, embers fly, tumble weeds speed across the land - not pretty, at least this county does it's best to hit things hard fast.
Praying we stay good through the night.

Checking in from negative temperatures. Pretty dang cold out plus an even colder windchill.
Went for a frosty run, but going to stay inside the rest of the day.
Holiday, so its a day off. Will work on some stuff later for work, but that's that.

Praying for you Fuzzi and Rachel. So sorry for what both of your families are going through.

Coffee is ready. It’s 26F high of 38F today. It looks like the much hyped snow has mostly stayed below me. Houston is definitely snowed in. I let Carson out and there was a little snow on the porch. He usually stays out for awhile but he was right back scratching at the door. He went straight to the propane heater and laid down in front of it. AAAHHH!
I scanned the yard with a flashlight but there was no piles of snow.

I will more than likely be hauling buckets of boiling water to melt ice in sheep’s water this morning and again this afternoon.

So no snow, and that’s ok with me! Just very cold. Wednesday low of 19, high of 45. Thursday and Friday low of 27, high of 51. I’ll turn my water back on Thursday.

Wreck on highway 59 Houston three 18 wheelers on a long overpass. And THAT is why this sheep rancher ain’t going nowhere!

I have 19 with feel like of 11 :th Bad temps. Only 28 for high & a ditto for 3 more days. Haven't "rushed" to break ice I know is there, they have 2 heated tubs until I & hot water get out there. They're munching on the extra hay from last night 👍

I'm having coffee first. Breakfast done. Bottles warming. Kind of day you get nothing done beyond must do. I woke for the 4am club, said nope!! Tossed, finally back to sleep. Need my sleep to get chores done. Now, to find my right hand glove 🤔
