Coffee anyone ?

RAIN !!!!! :weee:celebrate
Maybe a whole whopping 1/10 of an inch - but I'll take it - and it's a nice way to get the ground ready for more!! Thank you God.
More rain predicted today and tomorrow.
Got my check for the lambs - they did GREAT !! And color brought an extra $20. All well and good - but .... they didn't sign the check - I'll be calling them tomorrow. Easy thing to miss, goodness knows I sometimes think - 'did I sign the check?'

Up about 7. Coffee. Walk dog, feed ferals, break thin layer of ice on chickens' water tub. Decided to go to Sunday school. It was for the first time at our church, mainly due to Ron's needs making it difficult.

For lunch I made a Reuben calzone, and it was good! I got the idea here, forget who mentioned it.

And now, pretty boy!

Ha! We lost power.

It has been unseasonal weather up here.
I was teasing to some people that maybe there has been a pole shift... and the north pole is now... in Chicago??? But clearly no longer where it used to be.

Snow in HOUSTON...and up in Fairbanks, Alaska land of -60F.... they had rain!

We have also had a bunch of rain.

Lots of rain and wind... my snow is mostly gone to significantly reduced... sadly my parking area is still a sheet of ice...

Bear are awake... in JANUARY (almost February), and swans have been sighted!!! :ep

Usually this should be the time of 5 feet of snow...

I am thinking the wind must have knocked trees onto the power lines.

Power should be back on in a few hours.

It was 40 here this morning -- bottle feeding in just a light jacket 😄 Gong to low 50s, overcast & light chance of scattered. Miss the sun but, not thinking I'll see rain either. Couple stall clean outs to do in next day or two, toss into garden lot....till in a couple weeks out. No ice to break today -- didn't need to look.👍

January thaw coming here this week! We’ve had deep snow and sub zero temperatures ever since Jan 5. (Over 3 weeks- so unusual for our winters lately!) I have 2-month old goslings that are ready to get out of the brooder and this will be perfect for acclimating them. I am never hatching goose eggs in the fall again!
