I would have put this in the Moses thread but no results found after typing the proper title. Oh well. This afternoon Moses noticed coyotes stalking the flock on the lower pasture and charged down there faster than I thought he could go. Caddo was right behind him. I caught this because I was checking a gate and loitering to watch stuff. Good Boys! Good good boys! Not the same guarding styles as Smitty and Crockett but effective. I’m surrounded by heavy timber, doggos have to work.

Coffee is ready. Turned on the propane heater, it’s warming up. High of 59 and gonna rain today and tomorrow. I’ll do laundry, finally fold up and put away what’s left in the basket of clean clothes I’ve been living out of. Put away tools I’ve been using and clean house.

I have a 60 hr work week -- things get dicey. Rain start noonish (1.5" today? ) and more next 2 with poss winter mix next two weeks same heavy work schedule, less rain

It’s a weather race to see if it gets daylight or rains first. It’s a foggy white out. Storms today and tomorrow.

I just wanted to say @Ridgetop is AMAZING! @KodeshAcres called me worried about her ewe Misty but I live 3.5hrs away. I contacted Ridgetop since she lives much closer. She dropped everything to go help out.

Nope, not going to work in -33..... no way no how....
Today's snow that started around 7 or 8 at the house that we came home to after DS helped me test... was plenty. Not terribly cold.. around 28-30 so below freezing but not miserable... Snow was nice...
