Another cold day here, low teens to start but upper 30s later. Then uphill temps all week back to normal of 50-60. Yahoo!!

Snow melting, roads good. Will work today & tomorrow to catch up 3 days missed . Gotta do it.

Pretty much, the snow is gone. Few patches here & there, like shade area by woods. Thurs saw a bunch of turkeys on white field next door -- yesterday they were back. Nice big ones. 20+ gobble, gobble.

ETA...going to be 50 today. Sunshine.

Pulling OT for 3 wks

I've been on my feet for 12hrs
My trainee is doing GREAT but had yelled DEBBIE!!!! nearly every 30mins (warranted... but geez!)
This conversation happened a little bit ago.... I had JUST gotten my 3am coffee:

Coffee is ready! 41, high of 53 today. And more rain. It rained yesterday, I caught a break in the rain, went out and fed. Rain came back before I was done. I’ll look at rain gauge this morning. Church this morning. @Mini Horses im glad you can see grass now. I didn’t have to spend hours yesterday afternoon toting buckets of water!

Coffee being sipped, dog on my lap. She's wonderful but going back. She's going to be a great dog for someone, but needs guidance and someone watching her, and I have to go back to work tomorrow. I can't see keeping her in a crate all night and all day, it's not fair.

She counter surfs, took one of my chicken eggs off the table. She brought it to me undamaged! Soft mouth, a great trait. Sits pretty for food, takes from your fingers gently.

If I were retired I would keep her.

She finally got what she's been wanting, a snuggle and nap on my lap, head jammed under my arm.
