Yesterday after church it was cloudy, cold, windy and I watched a movie. Today it’s 41F with high of 70F and low wind of 3-5 mph with gusts up to 12 mph. I’m thinking burn pile. 3 of them.

The boys are back. Fortunately for you all there is no smell-a-vision. Both thoroughly skunked especially Moses. Otherwise ok. No wounds or boo boos. Caddo ate and went straight to his dog house. Moses is telling Leo and Sophie tall tales. My biggest fear was the busy highway and side road. Thanks for the good wishes.

Even my Covid nose can detect Mose’s location. He’s not sleeping in his dog house. Probably can’t stand himself. Serves him right.

Because we Post Stupid Things We Do.

I feel really stupid. Please feel free to post any stupid things you’ve done so i won’t be the only stupid idiot here. I have 3 huge burn piles in the front field. I had the fence line bulldozed December 2023. It’s been raining. Standing water puddles, mud. Today winds of 3-7 MPH. Perfect burn...

I keep looking at the job postings every morning hoping the one posted to replace me is taken down, that means I can go home now cause they found someone.
My luck, this morning I looked and another large entity just posted a handful of jobs and they never ever post. Means they must of cleaned house and in this small town not many have a Class A CDL that they are looking for and it is required for my position too.
Need a Class A CDL to take my position, need to be able to weld anything (aluminum, steel, stainless) and fix anything with an engine and some things without one.
Any takers looking for a job? Come on I know someone wants to wrestle 180 lb wheels and crawl under dripping cattle pot trailers full of cow schit in 40°F temperatures.
Now how can I get my contract cancelled without making it seem so obvious
