I am thankful that I have a couple of people I can rely on to farm sit for me. I agree with the others...Barn, lots of secured water, & lots of hay. If I did not have a sitter I would not even second guess locking them in the barn. Good luck & welcome to the site! Pictures of your goats would be awesome, some maybe when you return from the trip.
