Closer views of the mountain and some pretty lakes.
It was a beautiful day for a drive and some hikes. We drove to the north side of the National Volcanic Monument first, which had the best views but unfortunately some of the roads and buildings were still closed for the winter. One gift shop was open, so that was nice. I bought a mug.
Then we drove back south and followed a very windy road to a tiny town called Cougar, Washington. That was a lot of beautiful scenery too.
