Lots to cull Monday/Tuesday night.
And little premie/runt didn't make it. Too tiny and weak. Rest are fed.

Should have a sale of 4 doe kits this week.

Ugh. Last two of this litter. Other buck was terrible. Don't have other Rusty offspring previously kept back. Wide shoulders seems to be the only gain in the black doe.

This blue doe. Unknown sire. No depth, but wide shoulders and smooth loin...ish. lol. Gotta check weight for the age, if other mutts have better weight, I pay cull this one. Though, if Widy fails to kit, guess this one can replace her.

Might have buyers for the culls I need to get done tomorrow. But as part capes shipped out. Rest used as dog food.

Today

Along with the 4 buns, there should be a 1 bun sale, 10 manure bag sale and a 33 bag sale this week. 🤞🤞🤞

I read your whole journal. The Rex are beautiful. I like the idea of feeding the dogs. You are tracking expenses well and know exactly where you are on it, financially. You are working your rabbitry every way you can. Selling rabbits-breeding stock and pets, meat, garden gold poop, and pelts. Meat for the table and for the dogs. You are amazing!

I raised Satins years ago. I showed them. I’ve thought about rabbits, but nowhere to put any. Still working on infrastructure here. But you have me rolling it over in my mind now. I like the way you make full use out of everything you can.

Yesterday

Oh. Bad news. Quin let all except 4 kits die. 🤬 If I had a mom with similar aged kits, they'd be moved and doe terminally culled immediately. She'll be culled once the kits are old enough to wean, hopefully, the last 4 can make it that long...

All other nestlings are doing good. Cocoa kits were put in the cage with mom the other day to explore for awhile. Today, Lynx & Sugar kits were put out to explore. With it warmer, they're more active and not hiding in a dogpile nonstop.

This morning

🤬🤬🤬
What the heck is going on! All full, fed, healthy, just dead! It was warm, next to the others, so not death from exposure. 😭

Dang shoulders...He looked better in the shoulder last time, but clearly lacking either way.
Sep 4th. Almost 23 weeks old, 5.75 months old. Not even 6 pounds. Ugh. He's so sweet, but no improvement, so can't keep him.

She's crushing then to death!
Nest sitting. She wasn't during the day, unlike before. Blocked off during the day, but open at night. Moved the nest hole over. Hopefully that helps.

$193 in the red. Plus 1 bun sale at 15 and 15 poo bags at 75. And doa kits at 15.

Currently $88 in the red.

Looks like new kit is growing better than Jasper. So, he will replace him in the future!

Nana kits look pretty even. So, will pick best shape and size.

Runt hardly grew, will cull.
