$420 in the red. $2 in dog food. Moved 10 poo bags to use in garden, which equals 15 store bags at 8 each. So, $120 saved.
Currently $298 in the red.
Everybun got more greens. Google says purple deadnettle is in the mint family? Does that mean it dries milk production?? Switched to other greens for the does with kits, just in case...
Cold nights. 14's kit tried to be a big baby and froze to death yes.
Widy is supposed to be due this week, doesn't look or act bred.
What a rough week already...
Was supposed to be 24in wide. Brought 36" to the meetup. But kept with the agreed upon price.
But I lost all of my wire cutters. Of course. So I had to buy a new pair. Third or fourth now...
Gonna be a witch to cut that much off the whole 50 feet!
Then what am I supposed to do with 11 inch width of floor wire? Make tiny single hole transport cages? Wire them together for franken-floors? Frick, idk.
It's 14 gauge, GAW floor wire, the good stuff. Going to be replacing the floors in my stackers. And join together other stackers for the 2×4ft holes.
Got it rolled all the way to the barn this morning. *phew*
The two carports are attached to old barn. One can be enclosed. It's 13.5×9ft area.
I have odd cages that are heavy duty as well as the two heavy duty stackers.
Stackers are 28in wide. 4.66ft of space. They're for dwarfs, so double doored and used to be split for 16 holes, 4 levels. 8 holes. Going to keep all bucks in there only.
Odd ones are one 4ft and one 3ft. Both split, so 4 holes.
And one about 5ft I'll have to remake. 1 hole.
So, those use up 8.66 feet of 13.5ft. 13 holes.
The other stackers, joined to be 4ft wide.
Two 3hole tsc cages. 3-6hole.
Two 3hole medium cages. 3-6hole.
One already joined 3hole medium cage. 3-6hole.
One already joined 2hole medium cage. 2-4hole.
16ft of cages. Doesn't fit in 13.5ft. 11-22 holes.
Currently have 23 adult rabbits. So, would work out. Need to cull some adults out.
Wanted to simply unroll and attach cage tops to it for long cage banks, but realizing that's more work than needed.
Thursday
Kicked a couple litters out of nests. Slows growth too much, but it's still freezing at night, so I'm still worried.
Others getting more nest time.
Ugh, such messes...Neither look like keepers...
Depending on how you hold them or don't hold them, shape changes.
Sis 1, braced in first, giving the look of wider, shorter shoulder. 2nd, let go, but still bracing some. 3rd, no bracing, real shoulders, long n low.
Bred Sugar to Jasper, nest due April 12th. Hoping those kits look better. Zippy & Rivian to pair with her later on, too.
Sis 2, first is most accurate.
Vickie kits. Note how tiny at 12 weeks! Do I keep the heaviest or best shaped? Seems either way, it'll continue to be a slow process.
Flat, but the largest. Loin seems the best out of them?
He's powdery soft, much softer than rex. Apparently, its not a good thing, but dang, so much softer! Want to keep him just for that, lol. Shoulder rounds instead of flat line up, and that's a good thing.
Unknown color. Flat-ish. Listed her.
