If you want to try planting some tough perennials I'll send you some bareroot coreopsis and canna lilies. They spread, too, but they're not invasive, just eager. They handle heat just fine, and some drought.

I got my flowers today!!! Thank you so much! I will add on to the flower graveyard. I have some tiny redbud trees to take out of the pots and plant too.

I drove up and stared in disbelief. There was my package, perched on a birdbath (has rain water in it) and hanging off the edge over a big livestock water tub. Also with water in it. Can anybody say STUPID?

Meanwhile 10 feet away is a table. No water.

I’ve opened the bags so the plants can breathe. I’ll be making a bed for them and the redbud trees. Thank you so much!

Thank you for letting me know they arrived.

I've sent plants many times over the years, they should be fine for a couple days. If it's going to be longer you might want to wrap their roots/tubers in damp paper towels.
