You already have the makings of a fencing thread—CLEARING the land for the fence! That’s a HUGE project.
I am so happy...I keep going out and looking at it.

Frank (the Tree Guy) came by to finish fixing the gray water line that was broken. He made some suggestions about removing a couple inches of dirt below the PVC so it sits down a bit. He said he dismantled goat type electric fencing a few weeks ago, will let me know if any other tear down jobs have useful stuff.

And he's coming back after the first frost, to level the growth where my vegetable garden used to be, take down/cut back more privet, too. I want to wait until after the first frost as there's a yellow jacket nest in the area needing work.

It's the tall weedy area just right of center ⬆️

My 25 acres needs everything. Two fields fenced so far. Back field is the largest and worst fencing nightmare. Sigh…….
I have read all about your fencing, gate issues, etc. Very helpful.

Once I collect a little more information I will start a fencing thread as per your suggestion.

My lot is approximately a third acre, so backyard is half of that. I still can do a couple goats.

Fencing is a major project so I thought I’d make a thread for that. I made mistakes, got helpful advice and other people can learn from what I did right and not so right. LOL
When I built my hoop coop I documented every step, including mistakes and achievements, getting input from others all along the way. I can look back and see what I did right, in case I want to it again.
