I am making progress, but I keep adding to the list...

I make lists, sometimes breaking down some chores into the steps it takes to complete them. If I do something not on the list, I write it in so I can cross it off. When the page is full, I make a new list and transfer the undone chores to the new list.

Slept in, must have really needed the rest; most days I am up by 5:30. I had an overnight washer load of used but serviceable hoodies and sweatpants that I folded, bagged, and put in the SUV. Inspired, I attacked the closet by the front door, removing all the coats we don't use much, or at all. Two leather (?) jackets had powdery mildew as did a parka. The jackets are hanging outside, I'll wipe them down after the mildew dries up some. The raincoats we don't use and the clean winter coats we don't use are bagged, too. One of them was a wide wale corduroy jacket that belonged to my dad. It doesn't fit Ron, so I am letting it go...to someone who has nothing. It's old, probably from the 1960s, but in good shape, and warm.

I helped Ron (dh) to pick out his favorite baseball caps, then put the rest in a bag and also out to the car.

The latest laundry load including the parka is drying, so I am taking a break. It feels good to be cleaning out unused stuff, but feels even better that it's going to be used, finally.
