My oldest nephew lives in San Diego (city), and my dad lived there for a couple decades until rents skyrocketed. He was on Felspar Street for most of the time.

Ah! I don't know most of the city - though I do enjoy it when I can. We're about 40-45 miles from the city.

I have been told how lovely it is.
I looked up my dad's former address, he lived south of La Jolla and north of Mission Beach.

Went to church this morning, with my son. Everyone was so sweet, coming over and giving me hugs. I did fine until they started singing "Beulah Land".
More than one person asked me why I was there, a day after I lost my husband. I answered "I want to be here" as I did. It was a balm to my soul.
And it was good for my son, who hasn't been going to church at all.
