So I have a really silly question...I have 3 Nigerian does. 2 have beards and one doesn't. The one who doesn't is just over a year and hasn't been bred yet. If they are going to get a beard, when would it come in by?

See, told you it was silly

My doeling started to get hers at 7-8 months old. And now at 11 months old it's only gotten so far as a goatee :D , so kind of slow growing.

I have a variety of beard sizes on my does, even though they're all the same breed. One doesn't even have a beard at all. I would think that by a year, the beard would be there if they are going to have one.

Some of our ND or mini does have beards (until we body clip mid summer), others don't. Sort of like their hair coats, i.e. some are heavy and some are light.

Cool, thanks everyone. I am hopeful that maybe Lindy won't get one then, she is so pretty and feminine without it (she's my profile pic). Man, I can't wait to body clip them all! I want to see what's under there! But, being in the pacific nw, I think I need to wait until June, maybe later, we'll see what the weather does.
