Goat Lice

I have two Pygmy Goats that have had lice for about a month now. I was wondering where they could have got them from. I treated them with DE but it didnt work. Is there any sprays or other things i can use to treat the lice.

Sheep, goats and deer share the same species of lice so it's quite prevalent in the environment. It's also possible that your goats came to you with louse eggs on them and that they are now hatching. It in no way means that you're doing anything wrong. All goat owners deal with lice.

DE is a waste of money IMO. Try Python dust.
