Our goats have taken up residence with our chickens since the start of winter. They sleep under the chicken roost, so the chickens inevitably poop all over the goats. I tried moving a wood palate away from the chickens so they could sleep on that above the ground and away from the droppings, but they sleep where they want to sleep.

It's VERY cold here so I don't want to wash them off, but they are covered in chicken poop! Any ideas? Should I just leave it be? Or brush them? Not sure what to do...

Or bring them inside, make them a nice bubble bath, and then blow dry them before putting them back out. Not that I have EVER done that. :p

Maybe install a catch tray under the roosting area too so that they don't get dirty again.

That would be a riot. Literally.:lol::lol:

Installing a catch tray is a good idea. I had one on the floor, but I can bolt it up higher under the roost.
