Heifer feed

Rival bold is only 12% protein. Go with much higher. Her coat is rough (beyond just winter fluff) and dull, she's pot bellied. Worm her, give more protein, increase amounts.

She's underfed for your hope & expectations, IMO.

As to what feed...no idea what's in your area, brand wise.

i was told for a breeding show heifer not a lot of protein and more other stuff

Do what works for you, then. Don't know who told you. Like I could see from pics, she needed worming, just done. She needs more than what is being fed...I've raised animals for years. Show horses, show goats and can tell you that 12% is maintenance. You need more input for what you say you want to achieve. Whatever "other stuff" isn't seen there.

Rival has a show feed for heifers. It's 13.5 protein and feed at 2.5% of body weight per day. Plus 24/7 hay. You should go 3% of weight first couple months to get some weight on her, get some conditioning going on.....otherwise she'll not be competitive in summer fairs. Lotta work to do there. You'll see the coat change, like I'm telling you. It should be sleek & shiny, not there yet.

She currently getting 20lbs a day right now of Purina Full Range but I need to change it bc my feed store is no longer carrying that. all they carry is rival based feeds now

You know not to change feed without mixing to adjust rumen to new, right? Otherwise you risk a lot of upset.

I would say to use whatever is the highest protein feed you have available.
Is this your first cow?
Have you conditioned an animal for showing before?
There are several Excelent threads on here documenting the step by step process of getting a lamb raised up & show ready. Much of that info can transfer over to a calf too.

no, this is not my first time raising an animal nor a calf
This is my second year, raising a heifer, but this one is very competitive versus my first one was Owner bread and commercial

I’m just seeing which feed I should feed that’s all I’m looking for
