You should be able to order the Purina feed from Tractor Supply in Placerville. I order my Purina sheep mineral (50# bags) from Tractor Supply. Just order online. I don't have to pay shipping with pick up in store, so I would think that would be the same for you.
tractor supply is a bit farther from me about a 45 minute drive one way! i’m basically in the butt of nowhere hahah!

So get 2 bags and take a 45 min drive. That's no biggie. Those bags will last you a couple of months as a supplement.

Otherwise, do whatever you decide and that's it. I would not be concerned about 45 min, I ride over an hr for the best hay. It's my choice to have my animals and feed what's needed.

Maybe you aren't old enough to drive. Another thought.

We've TOLD YOU -- highest protein !!

2 bags of enrich protein, at 1 cup per feed will last 2 months....you still need your daily show feed.

Amazing weight gain 😳. Most feed lot heifers only aver 3-3.5# per day.

Dang. Tractor Supply gets it in for me with in the week. I buy 3-4 bags at a time. My pellets I buy 5-600 lbs at a time. Lots of bags, less trips.

The best steers that have been on test have gained 4.16 lbs a day... they were doing trials to see what the best gain could be achieved... using different breeds and crosses... so......
