Chillin' with the herd
LauraM sorta brought me here...lol She sent me a link to a thread and I registered to add to it a bit....now I'm browsing the whole place. 
So hi, my name is Heather and I'm from Southern Ohio
Currently I have 2 mid size ponies, a SSH and a Haflinger--both mares, a herd of cats, 5 dogs and a larger herd of mice
I'm hoping that this coming spring I can finally add chickens back to our house. Was going to this year, but never got the time to fix up an area to keep them in (we like them to free roam, but don't like them to poop on the front porch...so they gotta stay at the barn! LOL)
I do equine massage and acupressure...although sadly, not full time as there aren't enough people around here that want to do that for their horses. I hope someday to be able to do it full time as I really enjoy it. So, along with freelance artwork, they are just semi-part time jobs...my full time job is doing home health care for MR/DD clients. I also volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America, having worked at a summer camp for 4 summers in the Simon Kenton Council at Camp Falling Rock as the equestrian director. I teach a handful of merit badges still in the off camp season and help out at CFR in the off camp season at the Nature Lodge.
