I am new to Back Yard Herds but have used this forum many times to answer questions I might have. I currently have 3 mini LaMancha's. I was going to start my goat adventure with 1 kid (doeling) that was born on 3-17-22 but that changed when I saw the condition of the doeling, her twin, and her mother. I negotiated a deal with the owner for all three, and what started off as just a visit to see the doeling (she was only 10 days old), ended up with me loading all three into a cargo van without any goat knowledge, and no food for them or supplies. My goat adventure began...

I’m chuckling, that’s about how we all roll! Totally unprepared, no experience, just a snap decision and we jump in over our heads and try not to drown. Yes, you will fit right in here! Hahaha! Plus we are wonderful enablers. Don’t ask the forum to help make a decision unless you want more animals! We always say YES!
