Now that you say that he could be Alpine /Boer too. He does look like some of the goats I had. I guess the question then would be does he have a dairy build or is he a chunk like a meat goat?

That is hard with kiko's because they are derived from the top dairy goats crossed with Feral NZ goats.

Not sure of this guys weight but if he is 6 weeks... I would be curious to know.
His nose and face look so Kiko to me.
BUT I can't see the nose from the side. If any real hint of a roman nose then Nubian or Boer is likely.

He looks pretty big for 6 weeks and I hope that he isn't that young as that is awfully early to wean the poor little guy. He isn't still on a bottle is he? Were his horns removed?
I don't think he's still on a bottle so that makes me think he's close to 8 weeks. Still has horns.

Are you going to keep him for a breeder?
No I will be getting him banded or doing it myself.

He looks part Kiko. The crimped ear is a commom issue in Kiko's.
Of course it is in many long eared breeds.

His head looks Kiko.
Do the Kiko's have longer floppy ears like that?

He looks like a goat to me... yup, yup... a goat for sure! No doubt about it! ;) Congrats on getting your first!
Seriously? I thought I was buying a sheep :th

He's skinny and long legged. So I would say dairy build.

I was trying to get some of our kiko kid pics to post but they are buried in pics on one of the drives... I'm not that savvy.

@misfitmorgan Alpines have erect ears. :)

I would say that he is an Alpine Nubian cross about 3 months old. And very cute.

I know lol....i call them airplane ears because for some reason if i say erect ears i get a look and a half lecture on yeah so do the nigerians, toggs...etc so i just call them airplane. Sorry though i should refer to them as erect here.

i didnt think about that...could be togg mix too.
