I'm New Here And To Farming

Hello everyone. I'm New to this forum and to farming. I'm a Happily Married Man and the father of 4 amazing boys ranging in ages of 9-16. I recently became disabled due to a work related accident that resulted in the loss of my left hand. I was working as a setup man setting up Metal stamping presses and the machine I was setting up malfuncted and my hand was crushed by 180,000 lbs of pressure. Anyways, I'm also a Metalhead turned farmer and I don't know the first thing about farming.

I grew up in Texas but now live in Alaska... wildly different climates!

Welcome! Sucks about your hand but glad it hasn't dimmed your spirit. Sometimes life puts so many bumps in the road you gotta make a detour and find another way of getting along the journey.
