I Love your felted sheep!!! I spin on an Ashford Traveler but mostly crochet with my yarn, I dont have confidence to try felting objects that aren't flat. Yours makes me wish I could, soo adorable!!

With that many sheep, you clearly need at least one LGD in with them.

The lady who bought 4 of my wethers & 2 pups sent me a box of wool batts for Christmas! ♡
Spinned up the 8oz of Corriedale and then bought 8oz more! She also sent merino and bamboo blends, but I got more of the Corriedale to practice before using the fancy stuff.

Then started on the new bag.

And boiled the cheviot rolags w/dawn to make white felt sheep.

I'll try to make a dog, might turn out fugly though...

What were you making the little eyes out of? They are very cute btw!

One of them I used wool to make eyes, rest is paint. Sold 6 sheep, gave away about 5 to family.


I tossed the 2 washed fleeces I was working on last year. Just blah.
Kept Lolla's washed fleece, though.
Flock was shorn & I kept Billy's, Tatiana's fleeces. Then pulled a little white & blacks out of the rest to keep & work on.
Pulled a few pounds of wool from both piles to send to the mill & the rest is free for pickup, have someone coming on Sunday for it.

Here's what I'm working on now. Tuffs to rolags.
