1/2/25 Moved girls to their new paddock - Snickers (Ram) still separated from them, also went to a new paddock.
The 3 adult ewes got collars.
Misty - Pink
Dottie - Teal
Peggy - Blue
Gwynn - Will get one when she is older.

Having issues getting the fence as hot as it had been the last handful of times we have moved them ( reading at 10-11) Not it's only 3.6-3.8 all the way around. Have troubleshooted some, but it's still not getting as hot as we'd like. Grateful for the fact that the flock respects the fencing tough.

Been spending time out with the ewes, I just take a chair or a bucket and sit there watching them. Misty always comes first, then Dottie (she likes to get up CLOSE and personal). Peggy and Gwynn are still unsure initially, but they always come around for the treats.

1/5/25 Had farrier come out and trim everyone's hoofs (except Gwynn). Snickers did the best out of them all, he was very still and patient. Peace of mind knowing they have all been "reset" and had him explain exactly how we should do it and what to look for. It was a worthy investment. Peggy is no longer limping and she's been staying on her feet to eat since Friday. Praise God!!!

Had to fix the hay shed tarp today. The tarp we have on there is way too long, trying to fold it was a pain in the neck, but we were able to tie it down some with some zip ties. Hopefully it holds up.

That's all I got for now. Let's see how these next couple of days go.
