Mom noticed the haircut right away and thought it looked good. MIL did something to her back and was at the hospital, so she missed the party. Dunno if she saw the haircut yet. I haven't heard much other than she is now back home. Had to figure out different child care this week as she can't watch the munchkin.

I made 4 dozen mini cupcakes and 4-5 dozen regular cupcakes. Devil's food and yellow cake, with cream cheese filling and buttercream frosting. Several people thought they were professionally made or bought from a store. Not bad for 6 hours of work. I even figured out a good way to transport them all in just 3 boxes.

Munchkin had a very good time running all over the pizza parlor and requesting to be picked up, even by total strangers. He even tried to run behind the counter and check out how they made the pizzas.

I guess you are all waiting for the results?

Munchkin is getting a buddy - a partner in cirrme in a few more years!

It's a specific type of plum that was bred to make prunes, regular plums might work but I've never tried it.
Prune plums are not as juicy as regular plums. Less juice helps them dry faster onto dried prune. They have a good flavor off the tree.

Today we put a better hoop over the tree in the orchard, no water to it yet but not going to worry about it until it stops raining. Got the apple tree from last year planted and a hoop on it too. Need to remove a few more oak trees so we can put the front orchard fence up and plant a few more fruit trees.

I always called them prune trees because that is what I saw them marketed as. This is the tag from the tree.
