Sprayed the deer stuff again around the perimeter of the new garden Tuesday night. Man that stuff stinks. I can't tell if I actually got it on me or my brain is just playing tricks on me; might have gotten on my sweatshirt? I didn't water Tuesday so need to water this morning. Really need to get the drip lines set up asap, I know hubby won't do any watering if I am not able to.

Squash plants need to get into the ground asap, same with the tomatoes and peppers. I really want to work on the garden today after work, will need hubby's cooperation to make that happen.

I've never had beet greens -- I guess I can start :)
I think some kitchen cookin experiments are going to happen! But first waiting until the pepper plant finishes up!
I've heard sauteing them in bacon grease is really good, but then again, most things sauteed in bacon grease taste good lol.

Had a crappy day. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Got some plants repotted tonight, not sure how the two loquats are going to do, they didn't come out with a lot of dirt, their soil was saturated and very sandy. Plus at some point today after I watered this morning, a deer got in and went on a spree. Topped the two baby loquats, topped most of the tomatoes that were waiting to be planted, and took some off the rose and the sun gold tomato again. Doesn't look like it got any more of the beans, so maybe the water sprinkler was going at the time. Very frustrating they just keep attacking.

Yep, although it helped I didn't want to spend much.
Nice plan but not always one you can execute when temptation hits ;)

Joann's dangerous?? Maybe that's why they closed ours
The sign on ours said they were "moving". I don't call closing the store and putting all the stuff in the existing store 30 miles away "moving". I call that "closing".

Seriously, if I'd start sewing again I could clothe myself for years with fabric on hand!
My wife could knit for the next ten years without buying any more yarn!

I need a she shed!
Or a garage/tag/yard sale ;)
