Been with BYH for a month now learning about goats. My wife and I live in Southern Maine and this past year started our backyard farm, so to speak of Chickens, Ducks, Geese & Goats.

Always looking for others in Maine to share experience's and advise. We like going to the Chicken Swaps in NH but would love to see these shows in Maine.

We have Black Australorp & Polish Chickens, Ancona Ducks, Roman Tufted Geese, An Alpine goat, & pygmy X nigerian goats.

Hopefully this Spring will produce our first goat kids. Fingers crossed that the girls have been bred. If so I would love to try and make my own cheese or soap from the surplus goats milk.

Would love to hear from other Mainer's and where you are.

Thanks,

Bob & Michelle

I'll say howdy again....I don't live in Maine anymore, but spent 17 years in The Valley, up in The County.....brrrrr!! My folks still have a house there.
