Truck shopping is finally over, mostly. This weekend is going to be fun!

FRIDAY
8am get hay
9:30 chiropractor
.......... retry paying Biscuit's adoption fee since card never was debited
1pm vet for Biscuit shots
.....Then drop kids at grandma's house
..........Then sign paperwork for truck, park Highlander at Aunt's house and DRIVE.
By midinight hopefully, arrive at Oklahoma hotel

SATURDAY
10am pickup Hera and DRIVE!
~4pm pickup Highlander from Aunt's house
.... caravan last hour home and pickup kids
....... introduce Hera to her new home as I get sheep in for night feed.

SUNDAY & MONDAY
Hang out at barn with Hera and recover from my "vacation"

Today was busy. I got outside around 7am to a bunch of barking and mayhem. Bruno was tangled up with a cream colored dog, maybe a golden retriever. Luckily the sheep were still penned up for the night. So I got to fix more fence, ugh.

Can you identify the visiting dogs owners? You might want to tell them to keep it home. In my state, it would be their responsibility -- a "fence in" community. Plus...adding more to protect yours.

It would be SO NICE if dogs were t just roaming!

People seem to think that just because the "country" has large expanses of grass that their dogs can roam everywhere. They are shocked that they are expected to keep their animal fenced. If people complain about their pet they are insulted, and heaven forbid the dog attacks someone's livestock! They are in complete denial.

So glad you are getting an LGD!

Yep! To be honest, Bruno roams to neighbors across street and subdivision. BUT, I am diligently working on patching holes in fence line and putting hot wire along bottom. If in meantime he ends up shot or caught injuring someone's stock, I know it is on me and would make it right.

Fence is so expensive but at least it has come down some.
