Ram shed is in final position, ugh. I need to find the long drill bit for gate bolts and drill holes in 4x4 for rebar pins. It's 5-7" grade change from tree base to ram shed far corner. I have 6.5' tpost to anchor corner of cattle panel and ram shed to. I don't think I'll kill small oak if I add dirt slowly.
The shed itself is fairly level. Here are some close-up views. My hubby is next inline to borrow family backhoe. We will be digging drainage trenches and fill will go here or sheep shed.
I need to put about 3inches in shed area and 2in within the 4x4 edge to get some room above water level. You can't tell from picture but it is so squishy I was sinking.
This morning I let the whole herd out to graze. Hera was a little alarmed at first and tried to make babies go back inside. I reassured her babies were allowed out. They are 9 days old.
Morning safety email, "Please be very aware of your surroundings, particularly at night. There are reports of coyotes howling at night. 3 individuals were recently bit by coyotes in Arlington." So glad I have Hera now.
