They are standoffish and shy. They were not handled a ton but raised with LGDs. Slowly working on sitting next to hay bunk and touching them while they eat.Meaning, they could be mean!

That will do it. Food is the motivator, your presence and touching them, will bring them around.

It's beautiful outside, breezy and not too hot. Perfect camping and outside weather. I'm getting about 1hr of kid minding and chores between long naps, ugh.

Oreo is up to 27.92lbs at 23 days old. She's growing great.

Got a tiny bit of work done on storage shed. 2 workbenches once I get new plywood cut for tops on left side. Area between benches and door will have drill press, sander, and band saw. Right will fill up with storage shelving with tarp dust cover. Have tote cage outside to collect all the random scrap metal / ruined tposts, etc.

Tonight is going to be eventful. I'm going to setup my headgate with chute and run all my new ewes thru it. Plan is hoof check, fecal, and blood spot for scrapies.

For fecal samples, I use a glove, turn inside Out and write sheep name or number. Put in ziplock bag. Refrigerate until you take to vet. Soon you’ll be able to do that yourself!
