So sad about Hera. I hope Leo steps up to the job. With just one dog he may have to work hard enough to keep him on property.

This little guy fell out of a tree on me last night. Hoping to keep him safe and let him grow up as barn cat.

He's tiny but seems to be eating wet food okay. That's a 5oz can for scale.

Wow -- that's a surprise find! That's the age to tame them. My ferals were older, so no cuddles. But mouse population well controlled

So upon close inspection, I'm 99% certain the kitten is a boy. So his name is Newton. Points if you get the reference.
He is definitely people friendly and spent chore time demanding cuddles. I'm hoping to get him used to staying at barn since Biscuit is NOT cat safe.

Ya' know - seeing as he fell out of tree on to you, I'd say there is something special about him, definitely out of the ordinary. Perhaps a "gift"?

Do I see blue eyes....whiteish with points? Maybe a Siamese type?

@Mini Horses That is from the flashlight on night time picture. The daytime one has better view of his actual coloring. He's very dark gray on back with lighter gray tabby banding on the underside. His eyes are the newborn blue-gray color.

I've finally started tackling the show sheep pen after months without mucking out. This is ~4 hours and the yard not under lean-to still needs done.
