Alfalfa is higher here. But all good grass is. 🤷

If it isn't young Alf, mine won't eat it. I use a lot of Alf pellets....less waste if too mature when cut for hay options. It's a crap shoot -- waiting to happen when you break open a bale.

Not all alfalfa is good alfalfa. DH and DS1 have become alfalfa connoiseurs. If the hay is baled too dry it will not peel into flakes, instead it just sort of drops apart and wastes. One time we got a load f hay that did that and by the time the kids carried the flakes to the feeders half of it had fallen on the ground and was wasted! DH had special places where he would buy his hay.

You are ready for whatever comes. This winter storm is not going to be as bad as the news hyped it up to be. I won’t see any snow, but I’ll get cold rain. You are going to get snow and ice, you might already have that white stuff.

It started out that we were going to freeze all the way down to Houston for a week or two. So this is much better!
