Well here comes the bad!
My laptop has been having speaker, mic, and Bluetooth issues for months. Monday at end of Teams meeting using Bluetooth headset, I thought I ended call and powered off headset when I set it on desk. Apparently it was still transmitting. There were 5 co-works and one contractor in meeting. A co-worker said meeting on his end froze and he couldn’t hang up or talk. So headset transmitted my muttering to myself about “a contractor who can’t read English” to the meeting. That coworker said it was faint enough he couldn’t figure who I was talking to or exact words. Another co-worker reported the contractor in meeting was chuckling “amused by my but dial”.

But a third FLAMMING! A$$ reported me to HR as “yelling derogatory things to contractor and damaging our relationships with them”. I now a formal written warning about “my behavior”. Since apparently cross-checking before blaming is unheard of. And no one in the age of COVID and video meetings EVER has a tech oops.

This is same boss who gave me a “memo of conversation” since I did not provide feedback on Friday from meeting Thursday where it was stated that I would have “a couple of days” to provide answer. I sent it Monday at end time of Thursday meeting.

...I am current refusing to use my laptop for Teams meetings since it is unreliable with Bluetooth. The poor IT guy is very confused about switch from putting up with laptops’ ongoing issues. And I am recording every dang meeting with Boss Stupid. Texas is a 1-party state so it’s legal.
Maybe the bad will have a good ending.

I AM FREE FROM CARING ABOUT BOSS STUPID!
🎉 🎉 🎉 🎉 🎉 🎉 🎉 🎉 🎉 🎉
The insurance thru Alijah's new job is AMAZING!!! All Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes medications are covered at $0 cost. The insulin pump supplies are covered too after smaller deductible and paperwork.
:celebrate:celebrate:celebrate:celebrate:celebrate:weee:weee:weee:weee:bow:bow:bow:bow:bow:bow:bow:bow:bow HIP HIP HOORAY.......

That is absolutely fantastic... Regardless of what you do/DON'T do about boss STUPID..... it is a blessing that you guys will be okay with the new insurance. That will take some stress of you.
I realize that he is driving longer to and from work and that puts a little stress on family time... But if things at home are better I hope that compensates for everyone.

Now to tape any meetings that you still have to deal with, and to start looking quietly.... God Bless his new job and insurance.

By the way, how are you feeling? Any continuing problems with the headaches, dizziness, feeling totally worn out? All the stuff that the blood tests showed "nothing wrong"?

Oh, it never stopped completely. Just ramped down from "haul me to ER" levels of pain to occasional "ice pick thru the chest" after 2 really bad months. It is totally normal for your heart to skip beats and you get dizzy. I think the last 3 months conclusively demonstrate it's not just anxiety.

Regarding the totally worn out, who knows what's related to the heart vs lack of sleep? Since diagnosis, I think I had 2 full nights when I was sick. On the rare good night I get my normal 7hrs with only a short wakeup at 3am. More often I'm up till midnight, up again 3am - 4am adjusting meds, then wakeup at 6am.
