At dusk, another set of doelings. One of my heavy milkers, Daisy. Woohoo....milk sharing might start in a couple weeks., ☺️. They might be tan. If so, that'll be 6 almost identical 😱

Added a pile of fresh hay type bedding for the family. Then more in next door area with kids. They've been piling together to sleep. I find 3-4 moms around edges... Body heaters 😁 been doing a nose count of kids each morn & night.

Made myself a 2nd bottle babe. Boer mom with trips. Runt was a buckling & his 2 bulky sisters were taking all, pushing him off. I saw he wasn't doing as well, so opted to help. He loves me! 😍 The girls now try to take his bottle 🫨 but this momma says no!! He's a sweetie and very gentlemanly while nursing.....unlike the hellion doeling😂 Trouble is a mess but excellently put together.

Only takes a few minutes extra. They really suck milk down and a lot of it. No wonder these moms are always eating!! Making milk is a job, especially in quantity.

Both kids are beginning to munch hay, and tasting moms grain.

For some reason bottle kids are sooo much esier than bottle lambs. They take a much larger quantity of milk faster whie lambs have to be fed smaller quantites multiple times a day.
