Well, nothing since 1/15. Good. They waited out the 10 days of frigid cold!! Have a FF in labor now. Still In goop and standing stages, wondering what's happening and calm. Couple hrs I expect. maybe. Couple more looking like next 5-10 days out.

Twin bucklings. One mostly dry, one fresh & being cleaned. Both talking, mom replying. Left to let her finish job. All alert and have dry hay bedding. It's actually 10* warmer in barn with all the goats body heat from both areas. Expect all to be ok. Will check back in couple hrs for nursing. Nice udder, like her Saanen mom! She's 1/2 Boer, kids 3/4 and future hay $$.

So, for my own record here...the twin boys. One brown, one black, both have head spots and both a touch of white on front left by hoof small guys. 5# ea....thought a single but FF so 2 small ok. The Boer are usually way larger. These look dairy, she's 1/2 Saanen, so ok. Being a good mom!!

Pretty boys. FF so they will grow slower but probably thicken out, but for FF great job!

Yep, slower but -- they are hay $$....she's got her Saanen udder . I've had some real good sized kids so far, make these look tiny!

The 3 bottle kids are @3x day, 20 oz each. 1mo olds. Big but, full & 3/4 Boer. So far, good kid crop.

I miss my little goats. They were so mischievous and got in so much trouble, so I switched to sheep (I love lamb) Not such a problem when I had ramlets. It’s hard to sell anything this far out.
