Hello...First off I need to thank you for all the answers you have given me on my few questions. My family and I live on 8 acres in central? Indiana. At this point we have 8 goats, 2 are 3 year old pygmy does, the rest are boer goats, 2 wethers, 3 does, and 1 buck. After the 4-h fair, we will not have 2 of the does and 1 wether. So will be down to 5. We are contemplating a horse that lives with family and possibly a donkey in the future. We have 3 dogs, 3 barn cats, and 2 indoor cats, 1 rabbit, 2 parakeets, 1 rooster..and 11 pullets that we are waiting for them to grow up and put with him. (also searching for some laying hens)
In the past I had 1 wether, that we sold at fair last year. Also at one point we had 55 chickens, but had gotten away from raising animals. We are now jumping back into this adventure full force.
the animals, house, and small garden are on 4 acres, the other 4 acres will be hay field. This is and interesting and fun adventure.
