I'll be dang if I just said no problem with these things and went out yesterday to check on things out back and there was ground rooted and tore up in 2 big 25'x50' sections..... Well I guess we take care of this first. Suppose I'll bait them for a bit, set up large fenced in area with trap door, keep baiting them and once their comfortable set the trap door and we will have us some feral hogs. So to answer your question thats my first game plan and we will see how it goes.Bossroo said:I have heard and saw on TV that your part of the country has quite a few wild/ feral pigs running around. These pigs are rappidly expanding their range in Cal. too , as in just about 10 miles from my ranch near Fresno, Cal.. One pig owner near my ranch had 3 sows in a pen, a feral boar destroyed that pen's fencing and ran off with them. How are you preparing to keep your female pigs from being bred by one of these feral boars, or stollen by them? Also, the amourous feral boar just may want to pick a fight with your breeding boar, what then?![]()
