Bad. Day. I have never made a bad loaf of sourdough, until today, and it’s the first one I ever sold. It’s not slicing. I hope it is just not cool enough, but I am not happy. Then I went to make my French Bread, 🥖 that I have been making for 30 years. And the dough isn’t coming together right!
Going back to bed.

When my daughter was little, she was fearless. She would get up in the night and play with her toys. When she was 4, her friend told her all about monsters. Then she was scared of the dark.

I made her Monster Spray. A little Pine O’ Pine in a spray bottle, filled with water made a Monster Spray so strong that monsters died immediately if they touched where Monster Spray was used. I had her draw a scary monster. I drew a big red X on it and we taped it to the bottle. It was so strong, when the monsters died, it vaporized their bodies. POOF! They were gone.

We sprayed her closet. We sprayed windows sills, doorways and under the bed. We kept the bottle under the kitchen sink. She would go get it, spray her room, then go spray mine so monsters didn’t get me either. 😃😃

Great idea!

My kids loved reading Mercer Mayer's There's a Nightmare in My Closet.

So did I.

I had a “happy” today.i found out that Randy has been using the Comfrey Salve I make and sell, on his knees, shoulder and his toe that hurts from gout. He says he’s getting a lot of relief from it and it’s working better than the DMSO I bought for him. Lucky for him, I have one tin of it left, because I’ve been using it to heal up the wound from where they cut out my carcinoma. Hopefully spring isn’t late because we are all out after this. I used up everything I had dried and need more leaves.
At least this year maybe he will actually help me divide it like I asked all last summer, and put some in the greenhouse ☺️
