Old news. Still bad news. Given the fda’s stellar performance on other issues recently I’d rather the current bureaucrats butt out.
You are not going "tin foil hat"... that is exactly what it is... more gov't control......It makes me wonder. I hate to go all tin foil hat but it seems between one thing and another our way of life is under siege.
I noticed the ag survey was especially nosy this year. I’m waiting for the phone call since there are some questions I didn’t answer. It’s not us small producers that overdose our animals anyway. But we are the ones being punished. Thanks a lot government a$$holes.
Lute and Oxy have been prescription for years here in CA. I used to get my Oxytocin from a friend who had a dairy and her vet gave her a scrip to store large amounts of it. Retired now and dairy closed.Lutalyse and oxytocin are also rumored to be on that list but I can find nothing in writing yet....
My new vet gives only individual doses of the meds now and charges accordingly for them. The rules, that I cannot find a list of what is going into effect in June, will also state that the vet is supposed to see the animal and specifically do a script for that animal/drug... and do individual doses.... so a vet/client relationship is MANDATORY so that they will sell you a bottle of xyz to keep on hand....
