Thank you @animalmom .... It didn't occur to me to check with online animal health suppliers for a list.... I don't order much online as my vet can often supply it at the same costs and up til now, our co-op has special "booking events" with different drug mfg's and all that come and offer specials for the event and I have gotten much of my stuff there that I don't get at the vet.
It is just going to be a PITA when you have an outbreak of pinkeye on the weekend or a calf with scours and it is Sat aft and need to get something in it asap..... and can't run to TSC to get a bottle.
My vet is not liking this either... but they will also drop ship drugs to us as they know our operation and he knows that I am not a big one on "drugs" unless they are really necessary.

I noticed the ag survey was especially nosy this year. I’m waiting for the phone call since there are some questions I didn’t answer.

Lutalyse and oxytocin are also rumored to be on that list but I can find nothing in writing yet....

Lute and Oxy have been prescription for years here in CA. I used to get my Oxytocin from a friend who had a dairy and her vet gave her a scrip to store large amounts of it. Retired now and dairy closed.

The rules, that I cannot find a list of what is going into effect in June, will also state that the vet is supposed to see the animal and specifically do a script for that animal/drug... and do individual doses.... so a vet/client relationship is MANDATORY so that they will sell you a bottle of xyz to keep on hand....

My new vet gives only individual doses of the meds now and charges accordingly for them.

Last September I was able to get 2 dozen small bottles of Penicillin from Atwoods in TX. I also got the intramammary tubes and LA200 in Tenn when visiting Mike and Teresa. Those tubes - Today and Tomorrow - are great to treat puncture wounds to prevent the site from skinning over and developing abscesses under the skin. Erick uses them for puncture wounds in his Anatolians. I used them several years ago for infected puncture wounds in lamb legs (courtesy of Angel when training her not to play with her BFFs). Took a while to train but she is a great LGD now.

I am waiting for the gov to outlaw vaccines and syringes. I guess I could just dress in dirty dl=clothes and go to the county health and ask for them for "my drug habit". If I was in San Francisco I could probably get them by the case. But legitimate livestock raisers, forget it. I better put in another order for syringes right now. I already order the disposables by the 100's.

I think I have several jars of sulfa cream in the shed, wonder if it is still good.

That PBS animal health that @animalmom referenced is a good reference. I made a copy off their web site. They also sell many of those drugs. I am going on the websites and ordering some of the stuff that will keep for awhile... picked up a box of Tomorrow (12) when I got the callicrate bands for these new bulls to work this weekend....... plus 3 bottles of Triangle-10 to vaccinate with as well as tetanus and clostridial (blackleg) vaccines ..... added a bottle of Oxytet 200, not LA and cost was only $49 for a 500 ml bottle... Got a bottle of Draxxin from the vet ... OUCH.... over $1100 but has a rebate that I just sent in... which brings it down to the generic price... we use this stuff in greater quantity than many but remember.... we are running 2-400 head of cattle at any one time with the cow/calf side and the feeders that we buy and then subsequently sell... AND we do not use antibiotics unless they need them... Many of them have "expiration dates" of 2 yrs off... and will keep longer if kept refridgerated or kept in a cool dark room (old fridge that doesn't work at the barn along with the one that works).... Keeps them clean and the varmints out of the stuff.
