That's so disheartening. I think I've lost 2 tomato plants due to my grass issues . Some years ya can't win 'em all.

Exactly but I was so happy seeing how good it was doing and producing but then the stupid crabgrass choked it out. I'm just happy that it didn't kill my plant

If the plants died quick, it may have been from a squash borer into the stem of the plant, and they just suddenly wilt and die practically overnight... May not have been the crab grass... but it could have choked them out too...

The plants haven't died just the baby squash

So very sorry for your loss. Prayers for your family. I lost both my parents 2 years ago within 3 months of each other... it is tough.
