Newcoming hobby

Hey!
So, my lastest hobby is carving! With that said...does anyone have tips on making very pronounced edges? If so, you are my savior some of my carvings this far are good but some look deranged.

These are my carvings... i think i did horrible on the pig. Wouldn't be so pricey if i didn't have to pay for shipping....

Ok, you draw on the wood where you want the edges to be....

Cut down hard on the edges, as deep as you can. A pocket knife usually isn't the easiest, a wood carving set with those little super sharp blades are easier.

Then shave away wood towards that deep stop cut that you made.

Yea. Got a carving set..while back. And have gotten better at the skill

@Alaskan actually, i draw where I want the lines in pencil then when done i ink everything.
