OMG! Fire ants in the roof?! Can you spray for them? Do they stay on the roof or would they come down into the barn after food? If so, you need to eradicate them before they come after newborn lambs and placenta material.
I got my lights working again now that it is dark so soon.
Musical pens is mostly completed. The show sheep pair are in with my herd since I am missing a gate panel. Snickers was tolerant during the shuffle (grain bribes were used). He's having fun reintroducing himself to his ladies. It only took an hour for the worst panic of Albus and Gwynn from being weaned stop. Gwynn was trying to convince Dottie to let her nurse. She's 35.4lbs and her sister is 33.6lbs at 60days old.
@Baymule Having cheap labor also help! Eldest got $5 for playing sheep dog. Unfortunately, it went to paying off his debt for loosing $110 tuba mouthpiece...
He was told when he started band, the first set of everything was on us. If he lost or damaged something due to carelessness he had to replace it. The first mouthpiece had his name engraved on it. The new one has the same plus an apple air tag tied on to it. He's also not getting a straight A in honors Math because he's not turning in his homework.
He's 12 and needs to start taking responsibility for himself... I gave him a $5 bill. He could have kept it and took it to school for snacks. Instead he handed it to bank of dad for his tuba. Small steps.
